A. Kendra Greene is a writer and book artist trained at the University of Iowa—where she also costumed a giant ground sloth. Her illuminated essay collections, The Museum of Whales You Will Never See and No Less Strange or Wonderful have been compared to Calvino and Borges. Published both in zine machines and The Wall Street Journal, her work has been supported by fellowships at MacDowell, Yaddo, Harvard’s Library Innovation Lab, and The American Library in Paris. She became an essayist during a Fulbright grant teaching in Korea, and is currently the Viebranz Visiting Professor at Saint Lawrence University.
