Alyson Hagy is the author of eight works of fiction, including the novel Scribe and the story collection Ghosts of Wyoming. The recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, Wyoming Institute of Humanities Research, and the Christopher Isherwood Foundation, her fiction has been awarded a Pushcart Prize, a Nelson Algren Award, and has appeared in Best American Short Stories.
Her most recent work explores oral history as the foundation of community narrative in the West. She is a Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Wyoming.
