Susan Elizabeth Howe is an emerita faculty member of the BYU English Department. She is glad to be back at BYU and is honored to have taught with the fine poets currently in the faculty. Her newest collection of poetry, Infinite Disguises, was published this year by By Common Consent Press. As the title suggests, Howe’s intention was to imagine herself into other beings, and try to explain their individual realities in the poems. Lisa Bickmore, Utah’s Poet Laureate, wrote of Infinite Disguises, “This book is a map to guide one to one’s wildest, truest self.”
